Testing & Performance

The OCZ Freeze was tested at idle 5 minutes, idle 15 minutes and load conditions. The load condition is classed as 30 minutes of constant Prime95, while idle 5 minutes is measured 5 minutes after Prime95 is shutdown, and idle 15 minutes is measured 15 minutes after Prime95 is stopped.

Test System:
Intel Core 2 Quad Core (Q6700) @ 2.4GHZ Stock
MSI P6N SLI Platinum motherboard
MSI nVidia Geforce 8600 GT graphics card
OCZ EvoExtreme 700w Power Supply
Windows Vista Ultimate Edition x86
Antec Nine Hundred

Results
OCZ Freeze Arctic Silver 5
Idle-5 35 36
Idle-15 38 38
Load 42 43

The results are pretty impressive. As you can see the Freeze is just about the winner against the popular Arctic Silver 5. This is quite a feat considering that the Freeze is completely non-metallic.
